Start with the frame
Specify marine-grade aluminium or powder-coated stainless for any piece within sight of the sea. Bare steel will rust within a season in salt air.
Protect the soft elements
- Solution-dyed rope and Quick Dry Foam cushions recover from spray quickly.
- Use removable, washable covers for deep seating.
- Favour closed, drainable bases so water does not pool.
