How sintered stone is made
Sintered stone is produced by compacting natural minerals and firing them above 1200°C. The result is a fully vitrified, non-porous slab with no resins or glazes to fail outdoors.
Why it suits outdoor dining
- Stain-proof: wine, oil, and citrus will not penetrate the surface.
- UV-stable: colour will not fade under direct sun.
- Heat-resistant: a hot plate will not scorch the top.
- Low maintenance: routine cleaning with mild soap and water.
Specifying thickness and edge
